Butternut Chardonnay 2019
The 2019 Chardonnay comes from vineyards throughout California and was brought up all in tank. Lots of ripe lemon and subtle tropical fruit as well as chamomile and flowers emerge on the nose, and it's solid on the palate, with a layered, ripe texture, moderate acidity, and some toasty, nutty nuances on the finish. It's a rich, textured Chardonnay to drink over the coming year or two.
Generous baking spice aromas like vanilla, nutmeg and ginger lead to a rather buttery, ripe and smooth palate in this plush-textured, oaky-style wine.
