Blending multiple vineyards delivers a wine of great complexity with full, ripe fruit flavors, rich texture, and firm structure tempered with supple tannins for extended aging.

This is made from a blend of vineyards, and includes 16% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. Savory earth, cedar and pencil shavings accent a juicy midpalate of black cherry, mocha and black currant, with supple, silky tannins wrapping around the palate and adding structure.

Nicely packed with plum, currant and blackberry purée flavors laced with black licorice and framed by a perfectly integrated alder note. Flash of sweet bay in the background, too. Drink now through 2026. 1,575 cases made.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is soft, open-knit and forward, making it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Sweet red cherry, plum, tobacco, spice and cedar all meld together in a creamy, resonant Cabernet that has so much to offer. The Napa Valley is a real overachiever in this vintage.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is charming, with plenty of cassis and spicy notes intermixed with classic spice and dried herb-like aromas and flavors. It's easygoing and medium-bodied, with sweet fruit and loads of character. I'd happily drink bottles over the coming decade or so.
