Yellow Tail Chardonnay 2020
|Region||Australia, South Eastern Australia, South Eastern Australia|
This pale-gold wine is a bit fizzy when first poured, and a little sweaty too. There's little to indicate that this is a Chardonnay beyond the vanillin wood notes, but bright aromas include melon, pineapple rind and citrus. The palate is fruity and creamy with rather forced acidity and oak, and a sour, flabby finish.
Straightforward, with appealing notes of citrus and peach and a hint of butterscotch on a softly juicy frame. Drink now.
